This is the beginning
Recently, I've been inspired by the story of Jamie Livingston's photographic chronicle of the last 18 years of his life. He took one photo per day using a polaroid camera. After Jamie's death in 1997, his friend Hugh Crawford collected Jamie's photos and published them online.
This immediately appealed to my existential tendencies. An attempt to not only chronicle a life, but also to examine it, via a single frozen moment of each day, sounded like something right up my alley. So I've decided to take a whack at it myself. If nothing else, it will give me a routine for every day to keep me grounded in my life, for those times when I try to float away.
